Recently we watched In Good Company starring Dennis Quaid, Topher Grace (from That 70's show and Scarlett Johansson (from The Girl with the Pearl Earing and Lost in Translation). Honestly it was much better than I thought it would be, I found myself laughing out loud quite a bit.
The best thing about the movie is that you love to hate Topher Grace as the young punk kid that takes over Dennis Quaid's job. Quaid, a succesful add sales VP gets kicked out when the company Grace works for takes over. Quaid is obviously upset but as the professional he is he lives with it. Grace falls on his face initially but does do an ok job with the help of Quaid. That is until he falls for Johansson, Quaid's daughter.
The plot is pretty simple, the jokes pretty predictable, but the best thing is the ending which isn't a stupid fairy tale. If you're in the mood for something lite this is probably a pretty safe bet. You won't love it but I'm guessing you won't hate it either.
